METHODOLOGY
Inflation is many categories moving at different speeds.
PulseKita takes the latest available month in each calendar year for each 2-digit CPI division, joins DOSM's MCOICOP English labels, and displays index minus 100. With the published 2010=100 base, this shows how far each category's price index sits above that base.
CPI is designed for representative inflation analysis; this story should not be substituted with raw PriceCatcher observations.
The latest year may contain fewer than twelve months.
