Regional population, put back on the map.
PulseKita maps World Bank SP.POP.TOTL observations onto Natural Earth 1:110m country boundaries. Fill intensity is scaled against the largest country value in each frame.
The population series comes from the World Bank; country geometry comes separately from Natural Earth.
Singapore is represented from Natural Earth's tiny-countries point layer because it is too small to appear as a polygon at 1:110m scale.
